There was an interesting thread in the last month regarding the end of the support for Asterisk version 1.4. Asterisk users will have to make a tough decision in the near future. To stay with Asterisk 1.4 and manage its own patches or to migrate to version 1.8. We have created a poll asking, "Is Asterisk 1.8 reliable?". Help the Asterisk community answering the poll.
